The company is also a member of 1% for the Planet, donating to worthwhile causes that keep our oceans and coasts clean and healthy!

The story of Pela began with Jeremy Lang, the founder. He saw firsthand the damage plastics were doing to our oceans while on a family vacation in Hawaii in 2010. Jeremy had the courage to spend years experimenting with new materials to find an alternative to plastic that could be used in everyday products. Jeremy wants to make sure he is doing his best to protect the planet for his children, your children, and generations to come!
