After graduating with a Masters degree from Central Saint Martins in London, namesake and ex-Burberry designer, Louise Markey launched her own label L.F. MARKEY in 2008. Inspired by vintage workwear, the Sydney-born designer channeled her passion for the traditional bleus de travail and artist’s smocks to deliver a range of contemporary block colour utility pieces in bold, bright fabrics. LF Markey prides itself on ethical and sustainable practices, prioritising ethical manufacturing, fair working conditions and living wages, as well as slow, sustainable fashion. With a focus on quality, innovative cuts, bold colours, and fine fabrics, LF Markey’s utilitarian foundation is elevated into elegant casual wear.
