In 1988, a 26-year-old shopping obsessed couple got word of an available lease at the intersection of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Highland Avenue, the middle of the beautiful little beach town they grew up in. Days later, Dana and Nancy McFarland signed a 5-year lease and opened up WRIGHT’S. Paying homage to Wright’s Trading Post, a Native American trading post in Albuquerque, New Mexico started in 1907 by Dana and Nancy’s relative, Charles Wright, Dana and Nancy began their journey with Wright’s.

Over the course of a few decades, Wright’s has grown with and become ingrained in its close-knit community on the coast of California. With Native American artifacts from the original trading post accenting the store, Nancy and Dana have cultivated a boutique that draws inspiration from the Native American influences of its New Mexican predecessor, the beachy and bohemian energy of Manhattan Beach, and the stylistic sensibilities of designers from all over the world.

Featuring a thoughtfully curated collection of products from the best and most inspired designers worldwide, Wright’s presents the highest quality pieces in an array of styles in order to find the ones that best suit the unique tastes of each of our customers.
