Malmö based POLAR SKATE CO. was founded in 2011, being the first of two sister brands of Pontus Alv, alongside Last Resort AB.
Polar Skate Co. changed the path of skate companies at the time, by providing creative and colourful hand drawn/paint style artworks juxtaposed to their melancholic black and white skateboarding photography, and surreal, thought provoking films; changing the direction of skate companies and giving birth to a new wave of ground level DIY artistically led companies.
Sporting a strong skate team, and a solid line up of brand staple garments, Polar keeps pushing things further with contemporary updates, whilst always maintaining a stronghold on their core garments and supporters.
