PINK MAHARANI stands for high quality silk scarves from the Indian region of Varanasi. The scarves are 100% handmade on traditional looms and thus contribute to the preservation of traditional weaving techniques. Through small social projects Pink Maharani supports the families of the weavers to provide additional security and better livelihoods.
Pink Maharani’s journey began with a conversation where the two founders, Thais Grange and Narmada Ramakrishna, met by chance in a tea store in Geneva and shared their passion for India. Thais always wanted to have her own brand. Narmada, on the other hand, was looking for a connection between entrepreneurship and social impact. It was probably written in the stars that they joined forces and founded Pink Maharani.
