Like many other independent brands, NIMES was born from the genuine need of two close friends to manufacture something true to themselves. Santiago Sellares and Clara Bartolomé blended their shared experience in retail with their passion for designing honest and timeless fashion goods to create Nimes. Their workshop is located in the vibrant neighborhood of Palermo, in Buenos Aires; they design and create bags and accessories using only the best argentine, uncorrected, vegetable tanned leather, sourced from the only sustainable tannery in the country. All this artisanal work applied to simple, stylish designs results in the creation of timeless, straightforward, unique products meant to be worn over and over until they reflect the unrepeatable identity of those who wear them.
