Kinz Kanaan is a Danish jewellery company founded by the designer Maysoun Kanaan.
Kinz is Arabic for ‘treasure’ while Kanaan originates from the ancient land of Canaan – a region historically renowned for its superior craftsmanship and artistic expression and the root of Maysoun Kanaan’s Palestinian heritage.
Maysoun Kanaan combines the classical with the contemporary and the intricate designs of the middle-east with the minimalistic aesthetics of Scandinavia. The designs reflect her personal journey in life, as a person, and artistically.
She finds inspiration in the elaborately symmetrical and geometrical patterns, calligraphy and ornaments of the past and put them into a modern context, striving to create timeless treasures of jewellery with the distinct Kanaan signature.
