KAYE BLEGVAD is an illustrator and artist, born & raised in London, now living in Brooklyn. Her work is primarily drawing based, but made across a variety of media including metalwork, textiles, and ceramics. She has a particular interest in creating artworks that are also functional objects, such as homewares, jewelry, lighting, and furniture.
Kaye is the author of two books, Dog Years (2018), which was self published in English and has since been published in Spanish and Korean editions, and The Pink Book (2019) published by Chronicle Books. She has also self published numerous zines and artists books.
Select clients include The New York Times, The New Yorker, Penguin Random House, United Nations, The Ace Hotel, Buzzfeed, and Lucky Peach.
Kaye also makes a line of jewelry under the name Datter Industries, which is available in her shop, along with many other prints and products.
