ILA MALÙ

ILA MALÙ was founded in 2009 by three young female Interior Design students at the Milan Polytechnic, united by a passion for fittings, a creative spirit and the desire to turn all this into a business idea.

Being a close-knit team has always been the basis of the brand Ila Malù, acronym of the names Ilaria Maria Ponti, Martina Pirotta and Lucia Troncatti.

The solid polytechnic training and skills acquired in the first years of work in Milan, mark the premises for the configuration of an authentic Wedding Design service in which stylistic research and the creative process become fundamental prerequisites.

The concept of Ila Malù was officially defined in 2012, when the Wedding Design service was joined by the Design Lab Concept Store in Brescia: a real home of the brand that tells its poetics, inspirations and orientation.

The design and organization of weddings and events alternate with the styling work and activities of the Concept Store, equipped with a dynamic online shop that knows no boundaries.

Today Ila Malù is a multifaceted and kaleidoscopic company, as Ilaria, Martina and Lucia like to say.

2018 is an important year for the three founders of Ila Malù.

Ilaria, Martina and Lucia inaugurate a new store in Bergamo, Zia Mame concept store, launch a Capsule Collection of clothing that tells the story of their way of being women, and move the Design Lab (which becomes Design Studio) to a larger and more functional space in Via Gramsci in Brescia: a headquarters from which to continue growing the Ila Malù project.
