I ONLY POPPED IN FOR A CARD is a Card, Gift & Clothing boutique in the heart of Clerkenwell. We carry one of the best card selections in London and offer free gift wrapping on all gifts, no matter how small. We are proud to stock lots of UK based, hand made and female owned brands!
I Only Popped in for a Card opened its doors in January 2020 after taking the reins from the previous owner. Clerkenwell has changed a lot over the past few years and we decided it was time to adapt and grow. We have the great combination of experience with brands and the area as well as the energy that comes with new blood (and a lick of paint).
Since opening we’ve been focussed on becoming more ethically and sustainably driven. We have introduced new brands into our jewellery, bath and clothing ranges that use recycled, natural & ethically sourced materials. All of our greeting cards are sold without cello wrapping and we are committing time and energy to seeking out brands with ethical and environmental interests at their core. We are also evolving the way we operate in the shop in terms of the waste we produce and opening up dialogues with all our brands on how we can all make a difference… As far as we know we are one of the first card shops in London to have all our greeting cards totally naked!
