After a dozen years of faithful services to Chanel and Robert Clergerie, AVRIL GAU chose independence. As a freelance stylist, she carried on designing for famous fashion houses (Chanel,Clergerie and Loewe, Jourdan, Stephane Kelian …) and gave life to her own brand in the same time. She released her first collection in spring of 2002. Her style is timeless, both classic and contemporary. She likes to play with the codes of “bon chic”, the unique juxtaposition of materials and sleek structures. Avril Gau shoes are produced in Italy, Spain and Portugal, and bags are produced in France and Spain.
