AVOLT is a Swedish based design studio that creates objects that extend electricity to devices, deploying Scandinavian design for homes, offices, retail environments and public spaces. No longer do electrical necessities have to compromise architecture and interior design: Avolt was founded on the belief that commodity electronics can be beautiful, aesthetic and functional objects. Avolt’s design philosophy is minimalistic at its core and derives from the foundational, basic shapes that we know stand the test of time. The world of electronics is still very much dependent on plastics to meet up safety standards, but with every new product that Avolt makes, they push the boundaries of what can be done, always striving for a better change. Their first product Square is made with 20% recycled plastics and environmentally friendly packaging.
