Launched in 2011 by cousins Laurent Bourven and Marc Asseilly, ARPENTEUR makes casual clothing for everyday wear. Working out of a former boulangerie and printing facility in the French city of Lyon, the brand recreates familiar workwear silhouettes applying studied cuts, sleek finishes, and fine fabrics, as well as whimsical illustrations by the French ligne claire illustrator Régric, to develop their own unique character. Astonishingly, all Arpenteur products are entirely made in France and often using French-made fabrics.
