AILI Jewelry (‘light’ in Gaelic) was founded in 2012 with the intentions of materializing and interpreting beauty through the lens of light, a primary source of energy and life.
Before finding her way to jewelry, designer Monica Ruzansky was a professional photographer where light was a constant inspiration and essential medium in her work. By observing light in varied qualities and situations and through the contemplation of nature Monica set out to create timeless and beautiful heirloom jewelry that mixed simplicity and timelessness with an ethereal sensibility.
Monica studied metalsmithing in her home country of Mexico and in New York. Her passion for jewelry lead her to developing beautiful and fine pieces for everyday life with great care and attention to detail. Aili Jewelry is made in New York City from recycled metals provided by sustainable certified companies and conflict free diamonds.
