5 OCTOBRE is a jewellery brand created by Sophie Pfeffer. Her passion for jewels, gems and accessories started at an early age as she was collecting vintage pearls and ancient tribal pieces.
In 2004, Sophie launches her first collection and the brand very quickly became a favorite amongst fashionistas and editors.
Inspired by fashion since her teenage years as well as contemporary and primitive arts, she makes jewellery using a large palette of influences.
5 OCTOBRE collections mix raw and refined materials. The search for symbolic meanings in stones and the mix of urban and rural environments are always in Sophie’s mind when creating jewels.
Each piece is meant to be a minimalistic, modern and protective talisman, charged with affectivity and feminity.
All the jewels are crafted in France or India. The pieces are made of gold as well as fine and precious stones, with delicate or rough cuts. Each jewel is precisely conceived with a strong attention to details.
