The STURLINI family has its roots in Renaissance Florence, where its paths crossed through marriages with those of the Medici family, who made Florence and Italy a beacon of the world. Hence the use of “six balls” in their logo, their symbol, to distinguish an indissoluble bond with the territory, tradition and Tuscan and Florentine artisan inspiration. It is on such values that Rolando Sturlini built his own shoe factory, the Navayos, in the 1960s. With the help of his wife Anna, Head of the Sewing Department, and his own group of artisan shoemakers, he created a product that arises from love for detail and material research. Thirty years later, their son Alessio takes over, carrying on and innovating these values.
