Born out of the need to feel comforted, Alyssa Wasko founded DONNI in 2009 after the death of her father, Donald. Finding peace in creative work, she launched a line of oversized scarves that could be wrapped & worn in countless ways, establishing her collection as an accessory line. After seeing how her product & concept were catching the attention of fashion editors & being adopted by new customers, she knew she was onto something special & grew it into the lifestyle brand that it is today. As DONNI has grown, comfort is still their core reason for being. Not only do they want to design essential pieces that are the softest things you’ll ever wear, but they also want their clothes to make women feel entirely comfortable in their own skin. It is their intention that when a woman puts on an elevated essential piece, whether lounging at home or going out in the world, that they make her feel confidently comfortable.
