SUZANNE RAE is a Brooklyn-based women’s line for the modern woman. Both feminine and functional, each item has a minimalistic aesthetic. With the slow fashion movement theory in the forefront of their minds, Suzanne Rae’s goal when producing collections is to encourage people to purchase quality garments that will last, and subsequently, reduce waste. The womenswear line incorporates quality, yet environmentally-friendly materials in their clothing, such as recycled polyesters and nylons. Suzanne Rae also partners with WIN (a homeless shelter for women and their children) and Girls Inc. helping relaunch their sewing program, in addition to supporting mentorship and education programs to give a voice to young women.
