Originally from Guyana, MARGAUX WONG‘s designer Margaux Rusita was raised on low waste Amazonian values. They’re best illustrated in how she was taught to use a coconut: Drink the refreshing coconut water right from its shell, eat the fruit’s crunchy flesh, use its husk to scrub pots and turn its shell into utensils and accessories. Nature was, and is, to be used with honour, care and respect.
At Margaux Wong, we do the same, diverting East Africa’s precious materials from a waste-bound path to create our luxurious wearable art.
