LABORATORIO was born on a hot summer day in Piedmont with friends, in an enoteca in Verbania that sold regional specialties from all over Italy. The idea was to work with organic farms. We were looking for the artigianale taste, the small regional producers who produced high quality specialties according to traditional methods.

Our philosophy of Laboratorio is artigianale, handmade organic delicatessen. We work exclusively with small manufactures that do not produce industrial organic mass products. Among others, we also work with small cooperatives that practice organic farming on an estate seized from the mafia. Many of these cooperatives also provide jobs for people with severe social disadvantages.

My passion for sustainable organic farming was passed on to me by my parents in Italy, who grew and processed their own vegetables and tomatoes. Already as a child in southern Italy I helped with the olive harvest, tomato harvest. I learned the differences between homemade tomato sauces and the products you got in the supermarkets, which all tasted the same.

Our organic products meet the requirements of the Swiss and international market for healthy, high quality and safe food.
