Hostem Archive proposes a bold new model for retail in reaction against the current consumer landscape. A selection of garments, ceramics, objects and artworks are presented in permanent rotation and are added over time, displayed across the lower ground and ground floor levels in a designated archive, as well as throughout Blue Mountain School. All items are catalogued, documented and available to browse online or by appointment.
Blue Mountain School enables makers to produce work in a sustainable way, commissioning one-off projects and bodies of work, valuing the craftsmanship with which these objects are made by keeping them available as part of a permanent collection.
A Perfumer H atelier is also housed within the archive, offering a selection of bespoke and seasonal fragrances in hand-blown perfume bottles.
